For the Birds, An Archive is a project exploring land use and ecosystems in the Lower Schuylkill River region of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Thus far, it has taken the form of an archive, exhibit, and artist book. The first chapter is entitled Investigations and contains an essay on the intersections of economics and climate change. The second chapter, The City and The Garden, is a collection of news clippings and photographs related to urban gardening and the history of the Lower Schuylkill River Region. The final section contains a collection of maps, drawings and correspondence related to a local land use issue that developed in the Schuylkill River Park in Philadelphia in 2011 related to the park's redesign.
